Network Cameras for Security and Surveillance
Magen Security Alarm Systems offers the market’s broadest and most consistent range of high-quality network cameras
The security cameras provide a number of capabilities – HDTV, wide dynamic range, infrared and Lightfinder to name a few – which ensure clear video even in difficult lighting conditions. Magen Security cameras also provide advanced video analytics features, such as motion detection, audio detection and tampering alarm.
A fixed network camera is a camera that has a fixed viewing direction once it is mounted. It may come with a fixed, varifocal or motorized zoom lens, and the lens may be exchangeable on some cameras.
Magen Security indoor and outdoor fixed camera offerings include the traditional camera type where the camera and the direction in which it is pointing are clearly visible.
Fixed Dome Cameras
A wide range of accessories is available, including joystick for easy maneuvering and mounting kits for indoor/outdoor installations.
Panoramic cameras provide a 360º field of view, ideal for surveillance applications that require wide area coverage in a single view. Such cameras can be used to detect activities in a large area, track the flow of people and improve area management.
With a wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel sensor, these affordably priced fixed domes offer multiple viewing models such as 360º overview, 180º panorama, quad views (simulating four different cameras) and view areas with support for digital pan/tilt/zoom functionality.
This panoramic cameras also offers vandal-resistance and discreetness with its smoke-detector-like casing is a cost-effective video and audio surveillance solution that offers several panoramic views, indoors or outdoors, in any light conditions. The cameras can cover an area more than 650 m² (7,000 sq. ft.). They are ideal for retail stores, hotels, schools and offices.
Magen Security modular cameras are based on a divided network camera concept, where the camera is split into a sensor unit—made up of a lens and image sensor with a cable—and a main unit, which is the body of a camera. The divided concept allows for discreet installation in tight places. A small camera lens may be all that is visible externally.
Magen Security current modular offerings are of two types. The first involves AXIS F Series, which provides compatible sensor units and main units that are sold separately to enable you to put together the ideal hardware combination for your needs. The second are complete modular cameras as offered by AXIS M2014-E, AXIS P12 and AXIS P85 Network Camera Series.
Network cameras for surveillance in trains, buses and other vehicles.
Magen Security onboard cameras are specially designed for discreet and efficient surveillance in trains, subway cars, buses and emergency vehicles. These rugged cameras have protection against dust and water, and can withstand tough conditions as vibrations, shocks, bumps and temperature fluctuations.
Active tampering alarm together with clever design offers efficient protection against tampering attempts such as spray painting, redirection and defocusing, thereby making Axis onboard cameras very suitable in various exposed environments.
Magen Security thermal network cameras outperform a visual camera in dark scenes and are a great tool for detecting people and objects in 24/7 surveillance, from pitch dark areas to a sunlit parking lot.
Magen Security thermal network cameras create images based on the heat that always radiates from any object, vehicle or person.
A thermal camera is less sensitive to problems with light conditions, such as shadows, backlight, darkness and even camouflaged objects; and delivers images that allow operators to detect and act on suspicious activity – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To maintain health and safety, explosion-protected cameras and their accessories are required for video surveillance in hazardous areas. The cameras feature stainless steel housings and offer HDTV resolution image quality.
Explosion-protected cameras are heavy-duty enclosures containing networked IP cameras. The explosion-protected camera housing prevents any inside sparks or explosions from escaping and igniting vapors, gases, dust or fibers in the surrounding air. The electro-polished 316L stainless steel housings are manufactured and certified for hazardous areas by Oxalis Group Ltd. by Eaton in the UK, and equipped with customized network cameras.
